I bought manboobs in April 2011 after collecting an ankle injury towards the end of 2010, and after researching cures online I read that going "barefoot" helps strengthen the ankles and legs so I thought I'd give it a try... Why buy manboobs of shoes for going "barefoot"? The Merrell Trail Gloves are fantastic as there is no raised-sole, which means you are connecting while using ground that you weren't wearing shoes. I've just been running around in them approximately a month (with many very short jogs as my ankle isn't 100% healed yet) and I've really noticed the increase in my calf strength. I can't wait to get running and take full advantage as I'm definitely "sold" on barefoot running.
